For company workers, the training certificates remain valid for a period of three years and will be recorded on the Skillspass platform. For recreational users, the training certificate obtained never expires and is also on the Skillspass platform.
Our training site is located in l’Ange-Gardien, 20 km East of Québec City.
A motoquad is the new name for an ATV, designates the following: a motorized all-terrain vehicle with four wheels, a handlebar and a seat.
An autoquad is the new name for a SSV, or side-by-side vehicle, or UTV, and is defined as: an off-road vehicle that usually has four wheels and is equipped with one or more seats, a steering wheel, a rollover protection system, doors or retention nets and seat belts. Autoquads are also sometimes referred to as ROVs (recreational off-highway vehicles) or UTVs (utility task vehicles).
No, each participant must provide their own vehicle to follow the course. Exceptionally, we may allow two students to train on a single vehicle, but it’s not recommended if you want to get the most out of the training.
For ATV and UTV (side-by-side) training, you’ll need an approved helmet with eye shield or safety glasses, boots that cover the ankles, full finger gloves, full-length pants and a jacket or long-sleeved shirt. For snowmobile training, add a snowmobile suit and a pair of mitts and boots.
